Before Cognitigence was a consultancy, it was a commitment to sharing what the research actually says about marketing, communication, and human behaviour. Not recycled best practices. Not trends dressed up as insight.

Dr Katarzyna Sobczak-Rosochacka studied social communication at university and completed a doctorate in media sociology — researching how people receive, process, and respond to information.

Alongside her academic path, she trained as an IT specialist with a focus on web applications. She wrote her first lines of code at school and never stopped. The combination was never a career plan. It was simply the intersection of everything she had always been drawn to: the rigour of research, the logic of technology, and the human complexity of communication.

Over 20 years working in digital marketing and technology, one pattern kept repeating: businesses were making expensive decisions based on convention, assumption, and whatever worked for someone else. Cognitigence exists to change that — one evidence-based decision at a time.
